MEET OUR TEAM
Walt Cameron founded CMT Properties in 2021 and serves as its President and CEO. He oversees corporate activities, business cultivation and a Team of property management professionals. He believes in creating a culture centered around Team, Accountability, Empowerment and Personal Growth.
In 2008 he began his career in commercial real estate as a property manager for Moody Rambin. Over the next 5 years he ascended the ranks and in 2013 managed a portfolio of 2.5 million square feet of office space. In 2014 he moved into the role of Director of Property Operations overseeing all managed office, retail, and industrial assets. Over the next 7 years he developed a Team of exceptional Property Management and Engineering professionals. Prior to entering the commercial real estate world, Walt developed his Leadership and Operational skills in the Restaurant and Bar Industry as an Owner and consultant.
Walt stays involved with his community and is passionate about giving back. He is an advocate for adults with Intellectual and Development Disabilities. He serves as Board Treasurer for Summerhouse Houston, a day center where his autistic son Cole has been a member for 10 years. As a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, he is the representative who serves on the Congregational Council for MAM (Memorial Assistance Ministries) an organization centered around helping those in need within our communities.
Married to his beautiful wife Cydney for 31 years, they have 2 sons, Taylor and Cole and grandson Jack. Spending time with his family is an integral part of his life. Faith, Family and giving back are the things that motivate Walt to be the best he can be.
Luis Rendon is the Lead Building Engineer for CMT Properties where he is responsible for operating and maintaining all building systems. Through the utilization of a proactive preventive maintenance program and Tenant Service request system, he keeps the buildings running at optimal levels while providing Tenant comfort.
Luis began his career in 2010 as a building porter for Moody Rambin and had a willingness and desire to learn everything he could about becoming a building engineer. Through continual education and hard work, he was hired as an Apprentice Engineer and after completing his SMT/SMA certifications was promoted to a Building Engineer in 2017.
Luis is married and has 4 children and when not working, he loves spending time with his wife and kids and enjoys taking family vacations.
As a Property Assistant with CMT, Veronica Villarreal leverages over three years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Having transitioned from residential to commercial property management, Veronica has found her true passion, excelling in tenant relations and ensuring efficient operations. She is dedicated to maintaining open communication with tenants, ensuring they receive the highest level of service.
Veronica's background in accounting and service department management enhances her skills in handling both vendor and tenant relations. She takes great pride in her work, striving to create positive experiences for tenants while overseeing property management with meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, Veronica is enthusiastic about hosting events and engaging with the community, further enriching the tenant experience and strengthening relationships within the properties.
Passionate about continuous learning, Veronica is actively working towards obtaining her commercial real estate license. She is committed to growing her expertise and advancing her career in the industry she loves. When not focused on professional development, Veronica enjoys spending quality time with her children and immersing herself in activities that contribute to both her personal and professional growth.
Angie Campbell is the Senior Property Manager for CMT Properties. She oversees the financial, operational, and mechanical activities for her portfolio, while providing Tenant comfort and Client satisfaction. She leads a Team of property management professionals dedicated to maximizing efficiencies and profits, while empowering them to reach their personal goals. She is passionate about her role with CMT and its future in the real estate industry.
She began her career in Property Management in 2011 as a Property Assistant for Moody Rambin. She quickly developed a strong knowledge base for commercial property management and within 18 months was promoted to Assistant Property Manager and in 2015 was promoted to a Property Manager where her Team managed 11 assets totaling 2M square feet. She has experience managing Commercial office, retail, industrial, medical and government entities for Institutional Owners as well as high-net- worth individuals. She has been involved as a key player with several ground up construction projects on commercial office and industrial buildings, and countless Tenant Improvement projects. She Loves what she does, and it shows in her Team and her results.
Coloradan by birth but Houstonian at heart, you will catch her on the beach before the ski slopes any day of the week. Outside of the office her main passions, are being a mom to her teenage daughter and son and staying fit. She loves spending time with Friends and Family and on outside activities in the Texas sun!
Brandi is relatively new to Property Management and enjoys learning more about the industry every day. Prior to joining CMT Properties in 2021, she spent 10 years as a customer service representative and this experience has been beneficial in maintaining great relationships with Tenants and Vendors.
Brandi has two young children and cherishes every opportunity to spend time with them. She has a passion for the performing and visual arts, and enjoys helping others by spending her time serving her community through volunteering and outreach.
